How we will use your data

It is important that the information you provide throughout the quote and duration of the policy is accurate. Failure to disclose correct and complete information to the best of your knowledge may result in increased premiums, refusal of a claim or not being fully paid, your policy being cancelled or being made null & void and treated as if it never existed.

Throughout your quote we need to collect, share and process your personal information. To help prevent fraud and money laundering, we exchange information with fraud prevention agencies. You may see this recorded on your credit file, but it will not affect your credit rating. We’ve provided details of how we do this in our Privacy Policy

When would you like your insurance to start?
Make sure there’s no gap, so you’re always insured. Please tell us when you would like your cover to begin. If you currently hold vehicle insurance then your renewal date will be on your policy documents.
What voluntary excess would you like to add?
A compulsory excess is set by your insurer and cannot be changed, a voluntary excess is how much you can choose to pay in addition to the compulsory excess to lower your premium. You will need to pay the combined voluntary and compulsory excess in the event of a claim.

What is acceptable no claims discount proof?
Your renewal offer from your last UK insurer or broker will show your proof of No Claims Discount. This may also be shown as No Claims Bonus (NCB).  

Your proof of No Claims Discount must meet the following criteria: 
  • Be less than 2 years old
  • Show the No Claims Discount in years
  • Show the date the policy ended or was due to be renewed
  • Include the registration number of the vehicle 
  • Must not be in use on another vehicle
  • The proof must be in English
  • Must be in the policy holder’s name

Please note, not all of our specialist products allow protected no claims discount. Protecting your no claims bonus will cost more but protects your discount in the event of a claim being made.

Please note, we can accept No Claims Discount (NCD) of the following type: Private Car or Private Motorhome earned in the UK in the last 2 years. The NCD cannot be in use on any other policy and you must be able to supply evidence of the NCD from your previous insurer, failure to provide evidence of the NCD could result in the NCD being removed and the premium potentially increasing and this may be subject to an admin fee being applied. If your NCD was earned on a Commercial Vehicle or is being used on another vehicle, please enter 0 NCD years.
